Don Quichote offers two courses for those interested in fencing. Entry for these courses is managed through the RSC website. Each course takes approximately 8 weeks and is offered 5 times per year. The courses will be described shortly below.
Fencing beginner (A-course)
During the A course we will give a short overview of the sport of fencing and the weapons foil, sabre, and epee. This course is meant for anyone who has not fenced before and gives a taste of the different weapons in fencing. After this course, the B course is the next step. The A course is offered on Monday from 19:30 till 21:00, or on Wednesdays from 20:00 till 21:00.
Fencing intermediate (B-course)
The B course is designed as a direct follow-up to the A course and is meant for those that have fenced before. This course is taught on all three weapons, with the preference of the participant taken into account. During this course more emphasis is placed on the technique and tactics necessary for the sport of fencing. You can take this into practice while fencing against our members, with whom you train. The B course is offered on Mondays and Wednesdays, both from 21:00 till 23:00.
Course schedule
The A and B course follow the same schedule, which can be found on the website of the Radboud Sports Centre.
